5 UK Jewellers with Sale Wedding Rings for Men and Women
- October 16, 2026
- 3
The best sale wedding rings UK shoppers can find come from jewellers that show clear was-and-now prices, hallmark their precious metals and give you a sensible way to pay. Goldsmiths suits you if you want platinum or diamond bands. Wedding Rings Direct suits you if you want the lowest price on a plain band in your size. Ernest Jones and Beaverbrooks suit you if you want to spread the cost. Chisholm Hunter suits you if you want a luxury-style band at a visible discount.
A discount only helps if the ring is right. Sale stock is limited, often sold in a narrow range of sizes, and a "50% off" banner usually describes the best deal on the page, not the average one. This list shows what each wedding rings sale has actually listed, who it suits and what to check before you pay, for both men’s and women’s bands.
We are A Star Diamonds, a bespoke jeweller in Hatton Garden, so we are not on the list. We have been making wedding bands since 2016, and the checks below are the ones we would run ourselves. Stock and prices change, so treat every figure as a snapshot.
Table of Contents
Toggle1. Goldsmiths
What the sale offers
The Goldsmiths wedding ring sale lists 57 products at 20% to 59% off, the widest choice of the five. Platinum (18 rings) and 18ct white gold (15) lead. 55 rings are tagged for her and 14 for him, so some suit both. Prices run from roughly £250 to £5,000. Recent examples:
- Platinum 5mm plain Paris court band: £850, was £1,500
- 18ct white gold 2.5mm slight court band: £400, was £600
- 9ct white gold 5mm traditional court heavy band: £330, was £430
- 9ct white gold diamond stacker eternity ring: £295, was £550, with 0% finance over 4 months
You can choose click and collect or home delivery, and 49 of the 57 rings qualify for next day delivery.
Who it suits and what to check
This sale suits you if you want platinum or 18ct gold for less and like the option of collecting in store. Be careful with the diamond-set wedding bands. 42 of the 57 carry diamonds, 41 show the diamond as not certified, and 30 are graded I1 to I3 for clarity, where inclusions can be visible without magnification. Ask for the grade and decide whether you accept it before the saving tempts you.
A big saving on a diamond band means little until you have read the clarity grade.
2. Wedding Rings Direct
What the sale offers
Wedding Rings Direct makes most of its rings to order, so its clearance section is a limited stock of ready-to-dispatch rings, and you pick your size first to see what is available. Plain sterling silver bands in the sale run from roughly £27 to £49, against was-prices of £64 to £117. Other examples:
- 4mm light D-shape band in titanium: £44.71, was £107.74
- Diamond set shaped band: £318.94, was £768.54
- 7mm heavy flat court band in platinum 950: £615.93, was £1,484.18
That last ring saves £868.25, about 58% off the listed price, which is the most you can save on this page.
Who it suits and what to check
This sale suits you if you want a plain band at the lowest price, especially in silver or titanium, and your size happens to be in stock. The retailer offers a free ring sizer and samples from £1 per ring, so measure before you commit. Sterling silver is soft and scratches with daily wear, so choose it knowing that, or put the savings towards platinum. Sale stock in your size can vanish quickly, and a made-to-order ring at full price is the fallback.
With sale stock, your ring size decides the deal before the price does.
3. Ernest Jones
What the sale offers
The Ernest Jones wedding ring sale advertises up to 50% off, with filters for white gold, platinum, yellow gold, for her and for him. The page we looked at listed only four rings, so the choice is narrow, and the discounts were 25% to 29%. Examples:
- Platinum 0.33ct diamond wishbone band: £1,388, was £1,850 (25% off)
- 18ct white gold 0.25ct diamond wave shaped ring: £1,100, was £1,540 (29% off)
- 9ct white gold 0.50ct diamond milgrain band: £1,100, was £1,540 (29% off)
Each listing is marked "variations available", so check which sizes and metals are included in the sale price.
Who it suits and what to check
This sale suits you if you want a diamond-set women’s band from a high street name and are happy to pay monthly. Monthly finance starts from £21.94 on the £1,100 rings, at 12.5% APR. That is credit, not a free instalment plan. Multiply the monthly amount by the number of months to see what the ring really costs, and compare it with a 0% offer elsewhere.
A low monthly figure at 12.5% APR still adds interest to the sale price.
4. Beaverbrooks
What the sale offers
Beaverbrooks lists selected wedding rings in gold and platinum in its sale, with 0% finance and free UK delivery available. The word "selected" matters. Only some rings are discounted, so use the sale page rather than the main wedding ring range if you want the reduced prices. Check the product page for the exact metal, width and was-price before you compare it with a ring elsewhere.
Who it suits and what to check
This sale suits you if you want to spread the cost without interest and prefer buying from a well-known chain. Read the finance terms on the product page: the deposit, the length of the plan and whether the 0% offer applies to the specific ring you like. Remember that interest-free finance makes a ring easier to afford but not cheaper. Compare the cash price with similar rings, such as the platinum bands at Goldsmiths, before you decide.
Interest-free finance spreads the cost of a ring but does not reduce it.
5. Chisholm Hunter
What the sale offers
Chisholm Hunter’s sale advertises wedding rings at up to 50% off, with monthly payment prices shown on each listing, starting from £26.38 a month on one ring. A ring listed at a special price of £395 against a regular price of £595 shows how the headline works. That is £200 off, or about 34%, not 50%. The best discount belongs to a few rings, so look at each price rather than the banner.
Who it suits and what to check
This sale suits you if you want a luxury-style band at a mid-range price and like to see the was-and-now prices side by side. Before buying, note the metal and carat, the width and any diamond details, because a cheaper ring may be thinner or lighter than the one you were comparing it with. Check the hallmark on any gold, silver, platinum or palladium band, and ask whether engraving or resizing is included or charged.
The headline discount shows the best ring on the page, so work out the saving on yours.
Choosing the right sale ring
Start with your size and metal, then compare the was-price with what you would pay elsewhere. Platinum and gold bands give the biggest cash savings, plain silver and titanium give the lowest prices, and finance helps only when you have read the terms. Check diamond grades, hallmarks and delivery before you pay.
If none of these rings feels like the one, a bespoke band may fit you better. At A Star Diamonds, our Hatton Garden team makes wedding bands to your design, with free engraving and free resizing for life. You can book a free consultation with A Star Diamonds and see what a ring made for you would involve.
